Personalized Learning Paths

Montessori is a method of education that is based on child centered activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teachers offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process.

Critical Thinking Development

Children work in groups and individually through exploratory learning of the Montessori materials that maximizes their potential. Montessori gives children a chance to develop the motivation, confidence, grace, courtesy and academic skills that prepare them for a successful life!

Pre-Primary Class

Our Montessori Pre-Primary class, is the time when children use their bodies, senses, and emerging problem-solving skills to learn about and make sense of their world in the ways most effective for them. In the toddler classroom, children are introduced to the Montessori program through a variety of hands-on activities in a prepared environment.

Primary Class

In our Montessori Primary class a child will learn more easily and efficiently than at any other time in his or her life before the age of six. In the Montessori program, development is fostered by the use of sensory materials that help children classify and identify the stimuli they encounter.

Elementary

The Montessori Elementary Class: Dr. Montessori called her plan for the elementary student “Cosmic Curriculum.” “Cosmic” in this case means comprehensive, holistic, and purposeful. The goals of the elementary curriculum go beyond skill development and knowing facts to the development of the whole person; socially, emotionally, and academically.

Middle School

The Montessori middle school class is a continuation and extension of the concepts and procedures that were started in the lower elementary program. The children are moving solidly into the ability to think abstractly and advanced reasoning skills are emerging.

High School

In our Montessori high school program, we individualize each student’s academic plan based on their long range career goals. Class options vary according to your needs. A strong academic program is our main priority.

Lifelong Learning Skills

We teach conflict resolution, team dynamics, and consideration of others and their environment – skills they can apply throughout their entire lives!

Motivation Development Skills

Heritage Montessori works hard to ensure our students are motivated throughout the day. The Montessori approach makes learning fun thus, students are able to stay focused longer and enjoy the entire school day.

Self Paced Learning

At Heritage Montessori, we believe that every child’s mind develops at a different pace. Through our child centered philosophy, students have the opportunity to learn based on there readiness and not feel rushed while completing their work.

Individual Attention

With a 1:6 ratio in our Pre-Primary (Toddler) class, a 1:8 ratio in our Primary (Pre-K – K) class, a 1:8 ratio in our Elementary class, and a 1:8 ratio in our Upper Campus (Middle and High School) class, our students receive an individualized education and build personal relationships with their teachers.

Cross-Cultural Experience

Our students experience different cultures from around the world in their Cultural Lessons built into our curriculum. Our teachers use detailed lessons, teach interactive dances and music associated with the culture, as well as try different foods that are often prepared by the students in class. This gives them an all-around cultural understanding they can not get from just reading a book!

Message from our Director

Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.

Dear Families and Community Members,

As the Operational Director of Heritage Montessori, it is both an honor and a joy to welcome you to our vibrant learning community. My passion lies in helping children uncover their unique strengths and guiding them as they chart a personalized path toward their dreams. At our school, we believe that education is not one-size-fits-all; it’s a dynamic, individualized journey where each child is encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive at their own pace. The Montessori approach empowers young learners to take ownership of their education, building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.

I also firmly believe that the strength of any community begins with the investment we make in its youth. By nurturing curiosity, compassion, and resilience in our students, we are shaping future leaders, innovators, and thoughtful citizens. Every child we support today helps lay the foundation for a stronger, more connected tomorrow. I am committed to ensuring that our school remains a place where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. Thank you for being a part of this important journey.
